Jimmer turned 8 months on the 24th of February and he is becoming a busy boy.These days, Jimmer:
-Crawls around the house discovering things like door stoppers and furniture knobs
-Pulls himself to a stand on whatever is the right height (i.e. bean bag, first two stairs, laundry basket, jumperoo, Mom)
-Likes "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" (especially the green frog)
-Likes to catch the plastic ball with Grandpa
-Ditched his baby bathtub since he wouldn't stay in it...but hates to lie down in the big tub
-Loves to play 'Where's Mama?' when Dad gets home
-Favorite songs are "Wheels on the Bus", "BINGO", and "Itsy Bitsy Spider"
-Says "mama" but probably doesn't know what it means
-Ditched his baby bathtub since he wouldn't stay in it...but hates to lie down in the big tub
-Loves to play 'Where's Mama?' when Dad gets home

-Likes to turn off the computer (and will not forget where that button is...even when it is blocked or covered)

What a cutie! I don't know if I'm ready for the crawling stage yet. . .
He is adorable. Such a handsome guy! By that age, Christine was too big for her infant tub too, but scared of the big tub. We found this cute inflateable ducky tub at target for $10 that she loved. It even quacked when you squeeze the beak. We used that thing till she was almost 18 months. Maybe you could find something similar for Jimmer. You, Katy and I need to get together and do lunch with the kiddos some time!
So fun! And so cute! Don't you just love being a mom? He's fantastic. Just wait until you see him love on a younger sibling - motherhood just gets better and better. You think it can't - but it does :) :)
